Number of cases: 1209 Abstract: The survey ROVMES 2008 was carried out in the framework of cooperation of more institutions COPART, IVO, Citizen and Democracy, project PROGRESS, PDCS Slovakia and Museion. It was partly coordinated by the "Centre of Excellence of the Slovak Academy of Sciences for Research on Citizenship and Participation - COPART" (project leader: Prof. PhDr. Jana Plichtová, PhD.) at the Department of Social and Biological Communication of the SAS and by the Institute for Public Affairs (IPA). It was interconnected with another survey done in 2008 Citizenship and Participation in Slovakia. ROVMES 2008 is the representative survey concerning the perception of minorities in the frame of "On the Path towards Equality: Improving the Knowledge and Multilevel Strengthening of the Civil Society and Public Actors in the Domain of Antidiscrimination".
