Data Data catalogue Electronic database of parliamentary elections results in all Slovak municipalities from 1929 study description | list of variables | data access Identification Number: SASD 2010001 Author: Vladimír Krivý Date of collection: October 27 1929 to March 10 2012 Data collector: Statistical Offices, Vladimír Krivý Sampling procedure: all municipalites where elections in the respective year were organized Number of cases: 3620 Abstract: This unique database is based on printed data found in the National Archives of the Czech Republic (on 1929, 1935, and 1946 elections), as well as on electronic data from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic (on 1990 to 2012 elections) and census data from the years 1930, 1991, 2001 and 2011. The database consists of data on more than 3,600 former or present municipalities in Slovakia - i.e., each row represents a municipality. The municipalities are characterised by a large amount of data - mainly on electoral results - presented in 399 columns. The database thus contains more than one million cells in total and depicts a considerable part of the history. Note: The fourth version of the database contains census 2011 data.
