The research covers a wide range of topics: the name of the library, the results of the biennial, a comparison of regimes, the payment of deposits, the willingness to deposit money, damage to the economy by not depositing money into accounts, opinions on socialism, collectivization, the rights of Hungarians, and international problems. SASD provides a reconstruction of the research results, compiled on the basis of final reports intended for state authorities and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Slovakia. Neither the data nor the original questionnaire are available, but SASD provides a reconstruction of the questions used in the questionnaire, and the basic results of the research are available online in an Excel file. The research was carried out using a purposeful sample selection to reflect as accurately as possible the estimated structure of the population of Slovak society at that time. As this was the post-war period and the last nationwide census was in 1931, with the next one not until 1951, it was not possible to use quota sampling. However, the nature of the sample indicates that the sample selection corresponded in several respects to the structure of Slovak society at the time of the research closest to the 1951 census.
