Abstract: The survey was a part of 5th wave of European Election Studies EES. In 2004 it was a first time using of EES in Slovakia. Aim of the Survey was to assess to what extent European citizens identify with the European Union and the European political community; the effectiveness of the system of political representation and accountability in the European Union; and finally what people expect from the European Union and how they evaluate its performance.
