The selection was carried out according to the rules of the quota selection method and geographically covers the whole of Slovakia. The research results take into account the distribution of the population of Slovakia by gender, age, education, size of place of residence, nationality, and region. Number of cases: 1000 Abstract: The online survey Environment and Climate Change 2024 was prepared by researchers from the Institute of Sociology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences as part of the VEGA 2/0111/23 project: Climate Concerns, Environmental Protection, Green Consumption: Environmental Issues and Public Opinion in Slovakia. The survey of 1,000 respondents was conducted at the end of November and beginning of December 2024. The research questions focused on topics such as environmental protection, perceptions of climate change, the transition to a green economy, environmental justice, and support for climate protection measures.
